Data collection French DOP cheeses Beaufort and Abondance
The project LIFE TTGG – The Tough Get Going (focused on hard cheeses) has the aim of improving the efficiency of cheese production processes in Europe, especially for PDO products, reducing the environmental impact.
For this reason, from April 16 to 20, we went in France to the dairies where the DOP Abondance and Beaufort are produced. We have collected information about the adopted technologies and environmental characteristics of these two cheeses.
The dairies we analysed are:

• Cooperative latiere de la region de Moutiers
• GAEC Les Chenevifs
• Fromagerie Chabert
